Walking backwards at Cranford Park

Saturday March 3, 11am

Not literally, but this guided walk and talk takes you back in time. Hear about the curious characters from history connected with the park, from the Countess of Berkeley to Tony Hancock. Free, meet by information centre. 90 minutes. Led by Cranford Park Friends. www.cranfordparkfriends.org

Secret Garden opening: Cranford Park

Second Sunday of the month, March onwards, 10:30-12:30pm.

(March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10)

Come and help with light gardening or just visit this small walled garden, with its old well and vine, normally closed to the public. Tools and refreshments provided for volunteers.
